My Emergence oil painting will be on view at Woman Made Gallery this month in the gallery’s annual Small Works Members Show.
The show is a hybrid event: it’s up both at the gallery and online, from Thursday through Sunday, December 10 through 20.
Opening Receptions: Saturday, Dec. 12 and 19, 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
The 2020 Small Works Members Show runs from Thursday, Dec. 10, through Sunday, Dec. 20. Admission is free, and the gallery is open to the public.
Join me at one of the opening receptions, to be held on two Saturdays this month, Dec. 12 and 19. Both are free and open to the public.
I will attend at least one of the openings, so I hope you’ll stop by, say hello, and enjoying viewing my work and the rest of the show in person.
To ensure visitor safety, Woman Made is limiting entry to four visitors in the gallery at a time. Face masks required.

About Emergence
My oil painting, Emergence, presents a central golden disk, out of which flow colorful streams of oil paint. I think of the center as the “inner me,” where my soul inspires my artistic practice.
The highly textured brushstrokes show off the beauty of oil paint and the luster of metallic gold paint, which give physical, visual expression to the creative treasure that lies within.
The painting has the sense of a brilliant, sunny day, as it includes several sections of sky blue color. Also, all the colors stream outward from the central golden disk, just as the Sun sends forth its rays of light.
Emergence is a testament to the priceless flow of inspiration that makes my art possible.
Visiting The Gallery
The opening receptions for the Small Works Members’ Show will be held the Saturdays of Dec. 12 and 19, 2020, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The show is on display from Thursday through Sunday, Dec. 10 through 20.
All events are free and open to the public.
