My Late Harvest mixed media artwork will be on view at Woman Made Gallery in Chicago starting this Saturday, November 27. I’ll be attending the opening reception, which runs noon to 4 p.m. – join me that day!
Show Runs Nov. 27 – Dec. 18
My piece will be be displayed with more than 150 other artworks by almost 100 artists as part of the Small Works Members Exhibition.
The show opens Saturday, November 27 – Small Business Saturday – and runs through Saturday, December 18.
Admission is free, always, and this show offers an excellent chance to pick up meaningful, one of a kind gifts for the art lovers on your list.
Two Receptions Planned: Nov. 27 And Dec. 18
Woman Made Gallery will hold two receptions during the show’s run, one on the opening day and the other on the closing day. Here are the reception dates and times:
- Saturday, November 27, noon – 4 p.m.
- Saturday, December 18, noon – 4 p.m.
Please note that face masks are required during the receptions. During regular gallery hours, face masks are optional for those who are fully vaccinated.

About Late Harvest
Late Harvest combines watercolor on board with found objects consisting of rusted metal and empty cosmetic jars and lids.
This piece represents a response to the shift I’ve been experiencing after entering my 60s.
Like wine made from a grapes harvested late in the season, sometimes after they have turned nearly into raisins or even have snow on them, I and my art have lived through many days and seen the seasons change. And like a late harvest wine, my life has taken on a mellow sweetness in this stage of life.
